Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakland - Airport By Ihg – Hotel near airport in Oakland

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On one hand, the rooms were clean, spacious, and adequate; but on the other, it was noisy, especially being directly across from the elevator. The service was very good overall, with staff going out of their way to assist. The location, just outside the OAK airport, was perfect for travelers, especially those with early morning flights. The dining experience was one of the best I've seen at any hotel, although they ran out of some items during breakfast.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were clean, spacious, and adequate, although I had to request a move from the main floor near the elevator to avoid odors. The service was helpful, with a kind staff member assisting me. The location was ideal for catching an early flight with a free shuttle to the airport. The dining experience had some outstanding elements but also ran out of certain items early in the morning.

The hotel is conveniently located just outside the OAK airport, offering easy access to nearby food, freeways, and shops. The rooms, although in need of an update, were clean with good temperature control and air conditioning. The service was lacking, with staff seeming disinterested and unhelpful. The dining experience was satisfactory, but could benefit from earlier serving times. Overall a decent stay for the price paid.
